STAR MAN: Michael Coates scored a try and kicked four goals for Saddleworth Rangers.

ADAM Walker saw red as Saddleworth Rangers were beaten 40-24 at Rochdale Mayfield in NCL Division One.
The loose forward was sent off for an alleged head-butt after 25 minutes in a match that doubled as a Standard Cup semi-final.
Rangers gave as good as they got in the first half and trailed only 18-12, but Mayfield’s extra man told in the second half.
On the mark for Rangers were Michael Coates, who scored a try and landed four goals, while Matt Fogarty, Benji Lloyd and Adam Jeffrey also went in.
Carl Abraham (three), Ben Naulumatua, Callum Marriott, Rob Kershaw and Todd O’Brien touched down for Mayfield, with Sam Butterworth kicking half-a-dozen goals.
WATERHEAD climbed to ninth in NCL Division Two thanks to a 28-6 defeat of basement boys Stanningley.
Chris Hough’s side had the points safely tucked away by half-time after running in three tries, all of which were converted by Jamie Mayall, for an 18-0 lead.
