Welbeck strikes for Lilywhites

WAYNE Welbeck’s goal wasn’t enough for Mossley last night as they fell to a 2-1 Evo-Stik League Division One North defeat at New Mills.

Dominic Welsby fired the hosts in front early on, before Welbeck levelled just before half-time.

Dan Grimshaw netted the winner for the Millers 12 minutes from time.

In the North-West Counties League First Division, mid-table pair Oldham Boro and AFC Darwen drew 0-0.
