RUGBY: MOVING on - and quickly - is Saddleworth Rangers’ plan after a mauling inflicted by Oulton Raiders.

And there would be no better way to forget last week's battering than to beat Normanton Knights in Division One of the Kingstone Press National Conference League tomorrow.

Under-strength Rangers were overwhelmed 78-0 by unbeaten pacesetters Raiders.

Coach Shane Tupaea will welcome back Newton, Benji Lloyd, Simon Parrish and Ryan Moores for the visit of Knights, but Coates (wrist) and Liam Hall (shoulder) are struggling with injury.

As Knights lost to Shaw Cross Sharks last weekend and Sharks succumbed to Rangers earlier in the

season, Tupaea's side have cause for optimism.

WHILE applauding their attacking play, Oldham St Anne's coach Mick Fogerty won't want a repeat of last week's points giveaway when they visit Bradford Dudley Hill in Division Two tomorrow.

Saints appeared set for a sixth win out of seven in the NCL after forging an 18-point advantage with 10 minutes remaining against early promotion rivals Ovenden. But the Hailax hosts stormed back to draw the match 46-46 to leave St Anne's two points adrift of leaders Kells.
