FAILSWORTH Macedonia and Springhead suffered first-round exits in the North Manchester League’s Calverley Cup competition.
Dismissed for exactly 100 by Irlam, Failsworth went on to lose by seven wickets.
Springhead also experienced batting woes, succumbing to 76 all out in reply to Rochdale Catholic Club’s 199 for six.
