FOOTBALL: RIFLE Range ‘A’ have made it into their fourth cup final of the season.
Rifle beat Coppice United 6-2 in the semi-final of the Midas Plumbing and Heating Oldham Sunday League Supplementary Cup.
On target for the Jack Abbott Premier Division champions and beaten Manchester County Shield finalists were Ryan Hobin, Steve Grimshaw, Carl Beamish, Ryan Fagan, Nathan Eastmond and player-boss Paddy McGuirk. S Barrow and K Sabani replied for Coppice.
Rifle bagged another six in midweek as they wrapped up their Premier Division campaign in style by beating Jolly Carter 6-1.
The result meant McGuirk’s side remained unbeaten throughout the whole of their impressive league season.
Failsworth Athletic booked their Supplementary Cup final place after beating Rifle Range’s ‘B’ team 4-0.
