Act now to book Green Final place

BOWLS:

A SURGE in interest has taken the entry for this year’s Green Final Bowls Handicap near to its limit of 64.

Only six places remained in the Oldham Evening Chronicle-sponsored competition today; anyone wishing to take part is urged to enter at once.

The event has heats at Royton, Crompton, Nimble Nook and Moorside on Fridays, June 6 and 13.

The finals will be at North Chadderton Social and Bowling Club on July 5.
