RUGBY UNION: WILL Mellor was named the Oldham RUFC player of the year at the club’s annual awards dinner.
Players’ player of the year was Phil Conroy, while the young player award was shared between Josh Watson and Tom Hannon.
Worker of the year was Steve Tyrell, and the president’s choice was Alan Hollingsworth.
In the colts’ section, Ryan Arundale was the most improved player, while the coach’s choice was Jack Williams and players’ player Thad Kenny.
