Woodhouses make return
Date published: 16 May 2014
CRICKET: WOODHOUSES face a double-date as they bid to get some action in following last weekend’s wash-out.
Tomorrow’s Greene King Lancashire County League assignment takes ’Houses to Denton, while on Sunday they begin their Walkden Cup bid as they host Dukinfield (both 1pm).
Delph face a Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership trip to fellow mid-table side Golcar tomorrow (1.30pm start).
Meanwhile, if Delph can overcome Golcar at home on June 1 in their re-arranged Heavy Woollen Cup second-round tie, they will then host Leeds outfit Pudsey Congs in the quarter-finals on June 8.
