CRICKET: IMRAN Aslam put one over his former employers as Saddleworth booked a Tanner Cup quarter-final date at Hollinwood last night.

The Pakistani professional tore into the Austerlands bowling, smashing an unbeaten 105 off 76 balls in the six-wicket success.

He hit eight sixes and seven fours and shared an unbroken stand of 129 with Darren Shadford (32 not out). The pair had come together at 82 for four late last Thursday.

Droylsden completed the last-eight line-up with a 53-run win at Glodwick. Knocked off top spot in the league on Saturday, Gareth Dent's men bounced back against the new leaders.

Resuming on 51 for three, chasing a target of 182, Glodwick slumped to 128 all out. Mohammed Shakir wrapped up victory with figures of three for 24.

Quarter-final ties will be played on June 1.
