Delph target back-to-back wins

DELPH will head to rock-bottom Holmfirth with confidence tomorrow as they bid to make further progress up the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership table.
Grant Jones’s side, who have made an unspectacular start to the 2014 campaign, were in terrific form in their last game on Monday as they cruised to a four-wicket victory at home against Honley.
Jamshad Ahmad and Craig Fletcher bagged four wickets apiece in restricting Honley to 131 all out after they took first knock.
In reply, Andy Gleave scored 36 and Lancashire starlet Arron Lilley 34 as Delph cruised to a victorious 132 for six total.
Delph host Golcar on Sunday in the second round of the Heavy Woollen Cup.
Tomorrow’s match starts at 1.30pm, while the cup tie gets under way at 1pm.
WOODHOUSES have still not won since the opening weekend of the 2014 Greene King Lancashire County League season. They host Flowery Field tomorrow in a match that will get under way at 1pm.
