Tara ‘A’ take top honours

SNOOKER:
TARA ‘A’ have been crowned snooker champions in the Saw-Tech Shaw League — despite losing their final game of the season 5-1 at home to Comrades ‘A’.
The team had enough breathing space to clinch top honours whatever the result. Moss Inn, the runners-up, finished the season on a high with a 6-0 whitewash victory over Crompton Cons.
