Inter-League call for Wright

CRICKET:  

CROMPTON all-rounder Simon Wright is the only local player in the CLL senior team to play the Lancashire County League in the Reader Inter-League Competition at Rochdale on Sunday (1.30pm).

His former Crompton team-mate, Rochdale spinner Dale Highton, is also in the line-up

Royton pair Jack Snape and Aaron Tesz are in the CLL colts team to face the Liverpool Competition at Burscough CC, also on Sunday, at 1.30pm.
