SPRINGHEAD seconds have an eye on top spot in Division Four of the North Manchester League.
They are up to third place in the table after a 56-runs victory over their East Lancs PM counterparts.
Failsworth Macedonia endured mixed fortunes in Division One.
After successfully chasing down Blackley’s total of 218 for five on Saturday, they then lost by 57 runs against Ashton Ladysmith on Sunday.
