Angling: BRIAN Murphy (Gilders) took first place in the Hurst Anglers match on Moss Farm Fisheries.
His pole and pellet tactics fished right over netted him 32lb of carp, tench, rudd, crucians, barbell and perch.
Mike Dronsfield was second with pellet and caster fished down the track catching him an 18lb mixed bag.
PETE Jackson took first place in the latest Monarch AC evening match on the club water with a brilliant 38lb 1oz of ide, roach and chub taken on caster. He beat Pete Molloy into second with his 32lb of carp.

Organiser Dave Castle was again in the money, taking second with his two bream and a single roach tempted by caster fished at 11 metres and weighing in at 3lb 12oz.
CARP dominated the latest Diggle AC Tuesday evening match on Tanner’s Dam, with Terry Quinlan taking first place with chopped worm and caster tempting nine carp for 40lb 3oz. That put him a fair way in front of next-best Carl Hendry with his 28lb 1oz net.
MIKE Risby fished chopped worm and caster long to win Monday’s Medlock Bridge AC open match on the Park Lake with skimmers, tench and perch all making an appearance as he finished with 17lb 14oz.

DAVE Ireland (Tight Lines) made it two out of two at Twingates, with chopped worm and caster fished at nine metres accounting for 21lb of ide, skimmers and roach. That was well in front of team-mate Steve Baines as he also got amongst the ide and skimmers, but had to settle for 11lb and second place.
