SWIMMING: IT HAS been a good week for Oldham girls Jessica Fullalove and Jessica Lloyd at the British Gas International Meet in Manchester.
Both Commonwealth Games swimmers have won medals in a hectic event which ends tomorrow.
In the final major meet before next month’s Glasgow Games, 19-year-old Lloyd, from Diggle, won the first home medal when she finished third in the 100m freestyle final in 55.45 seconds.
Royton-based Fullalove (17) won a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke, clocking a quick time of 1min, 1.88secs. She also finished fourth in the 50m backstroke.
Both girls were also in the medley relay team, which finished second.
