CRICKET: WOODHOUSES zoomed to third place in the Greene King Lancashire County League table with a win double.
Yesterday at Medlock Road the hosts eased to a seven-wicket victory against Roe Green. The visitors stuttered to 116 all out, while in reply Steve Higson scored 50 as Woodhouses reached their target for the loss of just three wickets.
The Belfields outfit were also in good nick on Saturday as they beat Stretford by 45 runs.
