Angling: LEWIS Breeze drew an end peg in Sunday’s Old Hough Farm match and again made it work with yet another win.

Chopped worm and caster fished at six and 14 metres helped him catch a 71lb 6oz mixed bag.

Dave Holland (TriCast Highfield) was next with paste fished at six metres catching him 57lb 2oz of mostly carp.

Travelling partner Ken Power (Tri-Cast) was third thanks to his 51lb 9oz net of f1s, ide and tench falling to paste fished at 14 and 16 metres.

A day earlier at Old Hough Farm, Breeze won with his end peg throwing up 52lb 1oz of carp and

barbel taken on chopped worm.

Second was Darren Mulheir with 50lb12oz and again it was chopped worm that did the damage.

PAUL Wilkinson made it two wins on the trot in the latest Todmorden AS Trophy match fished on Croft as his pole and corn tactics tempted plenty of carp that together weighed 42lb 1oz.

Simon Newsham took second with pole and corn again working well for 38lb 13oz of carp.

Jake Nightingale took first place in the latest Todmorden AS junior match fished on Portsmouth Reservoir with a 6lb 4oz net that fell to the pole, chopped worm and caster.

IAN Cox took first place in the Diggle AC Tuesday evening series on Tanner’s Dam with his chopped worm and caster approach working to good effect for half a dozen carp and some silvers that weighed in at 42lb 14oz.

CITY Socials AC fished their latest match on Oak Lake where Matt Williams took first place with a carp-based 72lb 14oz, beating John Smith into second with a similar catch that weighed 58lb 14oz.
