CLL colts crash

THE CLL colts lost their Reader Inter- League Competition group match against the Bolton Association at Darcy Lever CC by 86 runs.
Despite eight for 38 from Norden's Adam Ahmed, Bolton made 179 all out.
In reply, the CLL were skittled for only 93.
WALSDEN (132-3) reached the Burton Cup final with victory over Middleton (126).
NORDEN (235-6) beat Rochdale (140) in a rearranged Premier Division match, pro Daniel Salpietro hitting 71 and Simon Harman 45.
THE CLL Second XI (143) lost to their Bolton League counterparts (155) in the annual
challenge match between the two leagues, held on this occasion at Radcliffe.
