Werneth reach finals day

WERNETH reached the JW Lees Bitter Tom Hardman Twenty20 finals day with a superb victory at Littleborough last night.
Taking first guard, the hosts made 102 for seven, Mohammed Abbas taking two for 18 from four accurate overs.
Werneth passed that total for the loss of four wickets.
In-form professional Mohammed Zaman Khan top scored with 41, while Syed Ali scored 27 and skipper Matthew Taylor 26.
Draw for the finals at Unsworth on Sunday is –
Werneth v Unsworth at 10.30am; Norden v Monton and Weaste at 1.30pm. The final will take place at 5pm.
