NICK Hardman recorded superb figures of eight for 93 as Woodhouses beat Denton by 35 runs in the Greene King Lancashire County League yesterday.
Team-mate Mike Cassidy earlier struck 74 as the Belfields outfit posted 206 for eight.
On Saturday, Woodhouses (111 for six) suffered a three-wicket loss against Denton West, who were set a revised target of 84 in a rain-affected game.
DELPH grabbed five Huddersfield League Premiership points with an eight-wicket victory over Golcar.
In reply to 178 for six in a match reduced to 25 overs per side because of rain, Grant Jones’s men reached their goal with five overs to spare.
Greg Buckley was unbeaten on 62 — he won the match with a six — Charlie Roebuck made 34 not out off 13 balls on debut, Andrew Gleave hit 45 and Graeme Simpson 31.
