Delph in search of more of the same
Date published: 08 August 2014
DELPH secured a morale-boosting win against Golcar in their most recent Drakes Huddersfield League outing and will be confident of building on that result tomorrow.
The Huddersfield Road outfit’s latest Premiership assignment is a home game against second-bottom Meltham — a match which gets under way at 1.30pm.
Delph have endured a largely disappointing campaign so far, but thumped Golcar by eight wickets, with Greg Buckley (pictured) scoring an impressive 62 not out.
WOODHOUSES dropped to sixth place in the Greene King Lancashire County League following a win and a defeat during last weekend’s double-header.
Tomorrow they host eighth-placed Stand (1pm start).
