PROMOTION-chasing Crompton are in terrific form at present in the Lake Garage CLL Championship — but their credentials are sure to be tested at Middleton tomorrow.
Simon Wright’s in-form side are right in the mix behind clear leaders Monton and Weaste, but fifth-placed Middleton are sure to be determined to end Crompton’s winning streak.
The Glebe Street side extended their excellent run last weekend as they crushed Ashton in a rain-interrupted fixture.
Monton will be confident of extending their advantage at the division’s summit as they host rock-bottom Oldham, who have won just twice in the league this season.
IFixtures —
Premier Division: Clifton v Royton; Littleborough v Heywood; Rochdale v Walsden; Werneth v Norden.
Championship: Ashton v Unsworth; Middleton v Crompton; Monton and Weaste v Oldham; Radcliffe v Milnrow.
