Bronze medal boost for underwater duo

Underwater hockey: 

TWO Greenfield youngsters were in the Xarifa Underwater Hockey Club under-12s team that won bronze medals at the National Junior Championships in Leeds.

Saddleworth School pupils Daniel Saville and Daniel Tromans have been competing for the Tameside-based Xarifa club for around two years.

Beginners are welcome on Fridays between 5.30 and 7.30pm. Details: xuwh@btinternet.com
