FOOTBALL:
MOSSLEY were beaten 1-0 at home by Northwich Victoria in the Evo-Stik League Division One North last night.
Gary Burnett scored what turned out to be the winning goal after just seven minutes.
The Lilywhites are at home again on Saturday when they welcome big-spending Salford City.
Oldham Boro suffered a 5-1 defeat at Rochdale Town in the North-West Counties League First Division.
That was despite Patrick Garmoody handing the visitors a 17th-minute lead.
Boro head to Flixton Villa on Saturday.
