ROYTON swim star Jessica Fullalove shows off her 100m backstroke silver medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.
But yesterday her mood was brought crashing down to earth.
On Monday Fullalove enjoyed one of the best days of her fledgling career as she helped Great Britain win 4x100m medley relay silver and claimed 100m backstroke silver on her own.
The 18 year old was back in the water next day in the women’s 200m backstroke heats, but the previous evening’s effort clearly took its toll. She failed to make it into the showpiece final, finishing her heat in eighth with a time of 2:20.62 minutes. Jess will be back in the pool today for the 50m backstroke.
