Beech wows Silverstone crowds

MOTORSPORT: 

MOORSIDE racer Ashley Beech bettered his lap record and took his first National Superstock Championship points of the season at Silverstone.

Beech (26) finished in 11th place in the ninth race of the season in front of over 60,000 fans at the historic 3.67 mile Northamptonshire circuit.

Beech started the race from the third row and got off the line well. He was holding 10th position until the last corner, when he was forced wide by another bike and crossed the line in 11th place.

There is little time for rest as the JDR team now move on to Derbyshire’s Donington Park for the next round this weekend.
