COACH Shane Tupaea expects to put 20 to 30 points on the board against York Acorn tomorrow as Saddleworth Rangers’ battle to beat the drop reaches a critical stage.

The Shaw Hall Bank Road outfit are one place above the Kingstone Press National Conference League Division One relegation zone with two games left.

“It’s one of those must-win matches,” said Tupaea, who is without Ryan Moores for the remainder of the season because of a shoulder injury, while Liam Hall is unavailable tomorrow.

“But the way we’ve been playing, and I know this is a big statement of intent, I expect us to put 20 to 30 points on York.”

There is plenty at stake at the foot of the table this weekend.

OLDHAM ST ANNE’S are hanging on to the last play-off place. Though tomorrow’s opponents Kells already have the Division Two title in the bag, one doubts they will lift their foot of the gas for the visit of Mick Fogerty’s men.
