FOOTBALL: HOT-shot Nathan Barker was the leading marksman as it rained goals in the Midas Plumbing and Heating Oldham Sunday League.
Barker struck seven times as his Rifle ‘B’ team beat Albion Inn 12-4 in David Giblin Division One.
Callum Standring (two), Jacob Davies, John Simms and Nathan Jacobs also registered for Rifle.
Cartshaft won 5-3 at Chaddy Cot thanks to Adam Oaks (two), Adam Bell, Matty Crothers and Aaron McDermott. Chris McDonald, Jay Cook and Chris Hince replied.
Tom Evans (two), Ben Lawton and Jamie Quinlan scored for Limeside Athletic in a 4-3 win against Failsworth, for whom Ronnie Leighton, Aaron Hurst and Michael Matthews replied.
Callum Beckett (two), Tony Lloyd and Phil Hargreaves pounced for Carrion Crow as they dispatched High Crompton 4-1.
Ben Maher (two) and Scott Ashton scored for Springhead Libs as they shared six goals with Royton Athletic, who replied through Josh Lockett, Jamie Clarke and Dan Hitchens.
In the Jack Abbott Premier Division, Ryan Hobin bagged a four-timer when champions Rifle ‘A’ thumped Failsworth Athletic 7-0.
Callum Franklin bagged a treble for Fitton Hill as they beat Coppice United 4-3. Roy Radcliffe also netted for the victors.
Farhad Chowdhury (four), Al Amin and Abul Hussain scored for Westwood in a 6-1 triumph at Oldham GPO.
