Enter now for tough Milltown race
Date published: 26 September 2014
Entries have opened for next month’s Milltown to Moors half-marathon (October 12).
Starting and finishing in High Street, Oldham and featuring a challenging 1,100ft ascent, it is one of the hilliest and most scenic races of its type in the country.
Former Saddleworth School teacher and Commonwealth Games athlete Andi Jones will not be defending the title he won last year as he has moved to Dubai. This leaves the men’s field wide open and the £100 first place prize money up for grabs.
