WHERE DOES IT HURT? . . . Liam Jackson, of Oldham GPO, grimaces as he is attended to by one of his club officials.

FOOTBALL: TWO goals from Israel Isamota helped Failsworth Athletic boost their stock in the Oldham Sunday League Premier Division at Cathedral Road.
This was a colourful clash right from the kick-off between rejuvenated Athletic and newly-promoted Oldham GPO in this windy corner of Chadderton.
It was good to see Athletic secretary Graham Speakman taking his place on the substitutes’ bench and when the 41 year old came on midway through the first half, he went on to play his part in his side’s victory.
Speakman said: “It was the first time this season and I enjoyed the experience. GPO is a solid team and the players all worked hard for each other. The difference was that we had that little extra pace.”
