Date published: 31 October 2014
FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY and Chadderton take a break from league action this weekend as Lilywhites take the short journey to New Mills in the FA Trophy and Chadderton play Dronfield Town in the FA Carlsberg Vase.
Mossley are in good spirits after almost pulling off a stunning victory over title hopefuls Salford City.
Mossley were on course to inflict a first defeat of the season on the big-spenders, but had to settle for a draw after conceding a 78th-minute equaliser.
They are favourites tomorrow as the third-bottom Millers are 12 places below them in the league table.
Chadderton’s game marks their debut season in the FA Carlsberg Vase. They are also third-bottom, with only two victories from 13 league games, but have won their last two matches.
OLDHAM Boro, from NWCL Division One, have a week off.
