Heyside win again

FOOTBALL: HUDDERSFIELD League Division Two table-toppers Heyside marched on with a comfortable 4-0 home win against struggling Lepton Highlanders.
Heyside went in front when James Leonard tucked home his 14th goal of the season. The leading scorer doubled his tally shortly before the break.
Leonard sealed his second hat-trick of the season after being tee’d up by substitute Leon Perry.
But Heyside saved the best for last: with 20 minutes to go, Hursthouse smashed home clinically from 25 yards. Man of the match was Chris Ollerton.
Diggle drew 1-1 at Britannia Sports in Division One, while the Division Four derby spoils went the way of Moorside as they triumphed 2-0 at 3D Dynamos.
Phil Butterworth (two), Nick Warhurst, Paul Smethurst and an own goal registered for Uppermill as they crushed Calder Athletic 5-0.
FBT Manchester League side Springhead were in awesome form as they dumped West Riding Premier League champions Ovenden out of the West Riding County FA Cup 4-0.
Despite missing a number of regulars, ’Head produced their best performance of the season in a comprehensive victory.
In Premier Division action, Royton Town played out a goalless stalemate at Manchester Gregorians.
There were goals galore in Division One, with Hollinwood crushing Wigan Robin Park 10-2 and a brace from Jordan Stepien helping leaders Uppermill to a 2-1 win against Chadderton’s second string.
