Sweet taste of success for Honeywell ‘A’

TABLE TENNIS: 

HONEYWELL ‘A’ defeated their fellow ‘B’ team 6-4 in Division One of the Oldham Table Tennis League.

Gary Newton, Mike McNulty and Dave Buckley won for the ‘A’ team, while Rob Carter (two wins) and Paul Carter responded.

Glodwick ‘B’ thrashed Rosehill 10-0 with three wins apiece for Khamal Hussain, Daniel Clarke and James Chappell.

Division Two action saw leaders Uppermill register an excellent 9–1 victory over Grotton thanks to trebles from Gary Crossley and Dennis Taylor, backed up with a double from Dave Grundy. Steve Oliver registered the sole point for the visitors.
