Date published: 11 November 2014
OLDHAM College’s launch of its new futsal arena kicked off in style.
Hundreds of junior players and guests visited the refurbished sports centre. An under-eights futsal festival got things underway on Saturday morning, as well as a charity futsal tournament later in the day.
The new indoor football arena will allow people to play the global standard and FIFA-approved version of the five-a-side game.
Featuring three pitches - one the full FIFA regulation size - the new arena will be available to the community and will include parking, changing rooms and interactive spectator areas.
