SNOOKER:
A BREAK of 41 from Alex Bamford was enough to secure a frame success for High Crompton in their Oldham Amateur Snooker League match at home to Stanley Road ‘B’
But it was the visitors who took the major spoils as they recorded a 4-2 verdict.
Martin Kennedy’s break of 38 for North Chadderton ‘B’ helped them to a 4-2 home victory over Springbank – a welcome change of luck following their 6-0 whitewash of the previous week.
However it is their ‘A’ team who continue to set the pace, their 5-1 win at Three Cs ‘B’ putting them four points clear of nearest rivals Nimble Nook.
