OLDHAM’S Nicola White has been dropped from the England squad which will head to the Women’s Champions Trophy tournament in Argentina at the end of the month.
England head coach Danny Kerry has selected Clifton’s Joie Leigh and Slough’s Shona McCallin to take part in their first major international tournament, with Holcombe pair White and Lucy Wood missing out after competing in the silver medal winning effort at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
White (26) has already won 137 combined England and Great Britain caps.
