MOSSLEY made it to the semi-finals of the Manchester Premier Cup by the skin of their teeth.
The Lilywhites saw off gutsy Trafford 6-5 on penalties at Seel Park after a 2-2 draw at the end the game.
Trafford led thanks to skipper Shelton Payne’s strike. Sam Robinson levelled, before Payne struck again for the visitors. Sub Mike Fish sent the game to a shoot-out as he made it 2-2 in the 80th minute.
Chadderton’s FA Carlsberg Vase second round tie at AFC Darwen was postponed for a second time, due to a waterlogged pitch. The teams will try again next Wednesday, December 3.
