WELTERWEIGHT hopeful Andy Kremner turned on the style as he registered his third professional victory at the Bowlers Leisure Centre in Trafford Park.

Delph ace Kremner (22) convincingly dispatched London-based Bulgarian journeyman Danny Donchev on points after his trademark entrance to the ring in top hat and tails.

Referee Mark Lyson scored the four-round contest 40 to 35 in Kremner’s favour after Donchev had bravely got up off the canvas late in the second.

A delighted Kremner, who is trained by former world title contender John Murray in Stockport, said: “I was really pleased with my performance. A lot of people said my bout was the highlight of the show for them, particularly my ring walk.

“On a more serious note, John was chuffed with my performance during the fight. I could have stopped Donchev once I’d floored him, but John and I were pleased to have got a few more rounds under the belt.”

Former amateur star Kremner could return to the ring at the Oldham Sports Centre show on December 13.
