WATERLOO and Taunton maintained their narrow lead at the top of Division One of the Inbev Winter Bowling League thanks to an 8-3 victory over Springhead.
Hopwood are back up to second spot, four points behind the leaders, after a 10-1 defeat of Newton Heath, but Springbank are down to third after their open date.
Nimble Nook and Vixens continue to dominate matters in Division Two, leaders Nook beating Lanctan 9-2 and second-placed Vixens overcoming Shaw Comrades 10-1.
