SNOOKER:
LEADERS of the Oldham Amateur Snooker League North Chadd ‘A’ suffered a 4-2 home defeat in the latest round of matches — but remain clear of the field.
After losing the opening three frames against Springbank, the hosts hit back to claim the next two, still missing out on the aggregate.
With Chadd Reform and Nimble Nook both without fixtures, North Chadd’s advantage at the top of the table is 13 points.
Three Cs ‘A’ have closed within a point of the sides in a tie for second place after a 4-2 victory at Blue Club ‘A’.
In the cards section, Royton Band narrowed the gap on leaders North Chadd ‘B’ to four points courtesy of a 3-1 triumph at St Paul’s.
