NETBALL: OLDHAM never lifted their foot off the gas as they romped to a 72-32 success against Blackpool in the North-West Premier League.
Winning every quarter - the second by 17 points - they always had their opponents under the cosh.
Amy Clinton scored with 15 out of her 16 attempts at goal in the first quarter and Oldham converted six out of seven turnovers - a huge improvement on other games this season.
Although Blackpool matched Oldham goal-for-goal in the early stages, the local outfit stepped up a gear and scored nine in a row to run out highly-impressive winners.
