Non-league football: CHADDERTON missed a chance to make progress in the North-West Counties League First Division as they were beaten 1-0 at Holker Old Boys.
The trip to Cumbria proved fruitless for the locals aftera 17th-minute strike from Jamie Pattinson.
Chadderton, who lost their first league match since September, return to action with a home fixture against Ashton Town on Saturday.
OLDHAM BORO’s home game against Daisy Hill was postponed due to a frozen pitch at Seel Park.
Rock-bottom Boro visit Barnton on Saturday.
MOSSLEY didn’t have a scheduled fixture at the weekend. The Lilywhites return to action tomorrow when they play host to North-West Counties League side Irlam (7.45pm kick-off).
