MOSSLEY extended their impressive unbeaten run to eight games as they edged to a 1-0 victory against Yorkshire side Ossett Albion.
The result was decided seven minutes after the restart when midfielder Josh Granite lashed home at Seel Park to give his team the three points.
The Lilywhites remain 10th in the table, only four points behind Bamber Bridge in the final play-off place.
Mossley return to action on Saturday with a tough-looking trip to fifth-placed Spennymoor Town.
CHADDERTON are back on track in the North-West Counties League First Division thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 home victory against Wigan outfit Ashton Town. Dillan O’Connor was the hosts’ hero, bagging the all-important winner with three minutes to go.
Chadderton, who moved up to 13th place in the table, are next in action on Wednesday when they travel to Cheadle Town.
OLDHAM BORO secured a welcome point in a 1-1 draw at high-flying Barnton. James McShane put the hosts in front just after half-time, but Darren Scanlon was in the right place at the right time to equalise with nine minutes left.
Boro, who remain rooted to the bottom of the First Division table, go to Ashton Town on Saturday in the quarter-final of the Reusch First Division Cup.
