Non-league football:
MOSSLEY achieved a hugely-impressive 2-2 draw at big-spending Spennymoor Town in the Evo-Stik League Division One North.
Lilywhites extended their impressive unbeaten run to nine games as they went toe-to-toe with their fifth-placed opponents.
But in the end there was probably a little frustration for the visitors as they slipped a place, to 11th in the table.
Josh Granite fired Mossley into the lead five minutes before half-time, only for Liam Henderson to even it up in added time in front of a 500-strong crowd.
Gavin Cogden’s effort handed Spennymoor the lead in the second half, but Tom Pratt responded to make it 2-2 in the 55th minute.
The Lilywhites return to Evo-Stik League action tomorrow when they host Radcliffe Borough at Seel Park (7.45pm kick-off).
CHADDERTON and OLDHAM BORO both saw their scheduled weekend games postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
Boro, who should have been in action at Ashton Town in the Reusch First Division Cup quarter-final, now host Holker Old Boys in the league next time out on Saturday.
Chaddy, whose league clash at Atherton LR was washed out, host Daisy Hill at the weekend.
