MOORSIDE’S Michael Wild will play local rising star Josh Cooper in the Manchester Open tonight (8pm).

The best-of-seven frames match will be held at Hazel Grove Snooker Centre at 8pm, along with other last-16 matches which boast Oldham interest.

Dean Sheridan takes on Mark Carrington, Mick Dickenson is pitched against Clive Garlick, and Gary Lees plays Jimmy O’Shea.
