Sultan swings into action

FOOTBALL: NIALL Sultan had his shooting boots on again as his double helped Failsworth Athletic to an exciting 3-2 win at Heyside in the Midas Plumbing Oldham Sunday League Jack Abbott Premier Division.
Ryan Lyons completed Athletic’s tally in the only top-flight game played, while Gareth Hill and Jack Suttie — who normally plays in goal but was needed outfield — were on target for Heyside.
The sole David Giblin Division One clash saw title hopefuls Rifle ‘B’ cruise to a 4-0 win against third-placed Carrion Crow. Nathan Barker (two), Ryan Fagan and Jacob Davies provided the fire power for Rifle.
