FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY’S proud 11-match unbeaten run was ended last night as Bamber Bridge won by the only goal at Seel Park.
Stuart Vasey netted in the 25th minute for Brig, leaving the Lilywhites in ninth place in the Evo-Stik League Division One North table. They remain just two points shy of the play-off places, however, and will be confident of getting back on track when they host struggling Prescot Cables on Saturday.
OLDHAM Boro were beaten 1-0 at Ashton Town in the North-West Counties League Reusch First Division Cup quarter-final.
