ALL good things come to those who wait.
Oldham Golf Club GEMS at last managed to play a Two-man Texas Scramble for the coveted 2014 Commemorative Cup after two postponements due to poor weather.
The silverware is played in memory of past GEMS members, and victory went to Ken Lunn and Geoff Allen. The duo scooped top honours after a card play-off on 37.75, from Brian Allen and Steve Mills, with Jack Simpson and John Smith next in with 39.25.
