Tameside tests

RUNNING: 

THE iconic Tour of Tameside will return this summer for the first time in over a decade.

On June 19, as many as 1,000 runners will tackle a six-mile fell race near Copley Leisure Centre, followed the next day by the Longdendale Trail half-marathon.

The race concludes with a seven-mile event in Hyde on June 21.
