CARRION Crow were the biggest winners as three Midas Plumbing and Heating Oldham Sunday League Challenge Cup ties were played.
Carrion sealed their progress thanks to a 6-3 victory at Oldham XI, handed to them by Tony Lloyd (two), Danny Fitzhugh, Ste Palfreyman, Ian Burns and Jamie Shaw.
Rob Quinlan (two) and Tom Breza replied for Oldham.
Premier Division high-fliers Rifle ‘A’ march on courtesy of a 4-2 win against Fitton Hill.
Nathan Eastmond, Ryan Hobin, Ryan Fagan and Osman Bushara netted for Rifle, while Callum Franklin’s double reply was in vain.
Niall Sultan (two) and Ilgner Miruku scored for Failsworth Athletic in a 3-1 victory over Oddies 14, for whom Mike Casson replied.
Heyside defeated Westwood 3-1 in the Jack Abbott Premier Division Shield courtesy of goals from Gareth Hill (two) and Carl Caffrey.
Hassan Noor struck back for Westwood.
In the David Giblin Division One Shield, Springhead Libs eventually saw off Chaddy Cot on penalties following a 3-3 draw.
Chris MacDonald, Adam Darlington and Jordan Bamford scored for the Cot club.
Martin Buckley Division Two action saw Manchester Swifts triumph 3-1 at Horseshoe thanks to Andrew Whitehouse, Anthony Whitehouse and Joe Jackson. Callum Mazechenyko replied.
Legends Of Lees march on at the top following a 3-1 home win against White House.
Andy Fulham, Gaz Armstead and Paul Badby notched for Legends, while Matty Crothers replied.
OLDHAM Sunday League pair Rifle ‘A’ and Limeside King George are in North-West Sunday Champions Cup action this weekend.
Rifle travel to Skelmersdale tonight to take on Lancashire ICE (8pm kick-off), while Limeside King George entertain Middleton Colts at Mable Road, Failsworth, on Sunday (2pm).
